CSM Engineering, LLC, one of the area’s true local engineering firms, has provided civil, structural, and marine engineering services to our Treasure Coast clients for more than 10 years. We are committed to engineering excellence and client satisfaction. Our clients include: homeowners, condominium associations, contractors, architects, corporate and institutional owners, and public agencies.

SERVICES. CSM’s civil engineering services include: subdivision design, industrial/retail site development, grading, drainage and erosion control, stormwater management, roadway design, permitting assistance, and Owner/Engineer/Contractor coordination. We understand that environmentally sensitive surroundings require an intelligent, sophisticated and cost-effective design approach in order to meet regulatory agency guidelines as well as our client’s needs.

SUCCESS. We have successfully designed and controlled many buildings and structural types. From state of the art to historic buildings, our projects range from small residential projects to major multi-story projects. Our structural engineering services include: concrete and structural restoration, residential design, commercial design, condominiums, parking garages, roofing design and inspections, aluminum structural design, waterproofing, and threshold inspections.

EXPERIENCE. CSM has extensive experience in marine engineering and has provided inspection, design and permitting services for over 300 marine structures in Florida. We routinely work with the Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to assist our clients with the permitting process. Marine projects and services include: personal docks and piers, seawalls and bulkheads, multi-family docks and marinas, and shoreline stabilization.

OWNERSHIP. In 2008, CSM Engineering underwent a change in ownership with Charles Darden, PE taking the helm as President. Charles brings 20 years of engineering and project management experience and has worked on major projects in various sectors including: refining, pulp and paper, chemical, pharmaceutical, transportation, and wastewater treatment.
